Preparing the Next Generation With Confidence, Character, and Purpose

Every young person has the potential to make a meaningful impact in the world. Sometimes, what they need most is the right environment to help them discover their voice, develop their confidence, and understand the importance of how they present themselves.

At Cheryl’s Courtesy Academy, we believe that etiquette education is about far more than learning which fork to use or how to walk into a formal room. It is about preparing young people for life.

That belief is at the heart of our Diamonds of Distinction Debutante Club, an experience designed to help young ladies develop confidence, leadership, communication skills, character, and grace while preparing them for a memorable 2027 Cotillion Experience.

More Than a Cotillion

A cotillion can be a beautiful celebration, but the journey leading to that celebration can be even more meaningful.

The Diamonds of Distinction Debutante Club is designed as a developmental experience where participants have the opportunity to grow throughout the program.

The 2027 experience includes:

August–September 2026: Orientation
September 2026–April 2027: Monthly Development Sessions
May 2027: Grand Cotillion Presentation & Celebration

This journey allows participants to develop skills over time rather than simply preparing for one special event.

Because confidence isn't created in one day.

It is developed through preparation, practice, encouragement, and experience.

Building Confidence That Goes Beyond the Ballroom

A beautiful gown and formal presentation may be part of a cotillion, but the confidence developed through the experience can follow a young woman far beyond the ballroom.

Participants have opportunities to strengthen their:

Confidence

Learning how to introduce yourself, communicate clearly, carry yourself with poise, and navigate unfamiliar environments can make a tremendous difference in how a young person sees herself.

Leadership

Leadership begins with character. Participants learn the importance of responsibility, teamwork, accountability, and making thoughtful decisions.

Communication

Knowing how to express your thoughts while listening respectfully to others is an essential life skill. Strong communication can benefit students in school, relationships, future careers, and leadership opportunities.

Courtesy is ultimately about how we treat people. Integrity, respect, empathy, responsibility, and consideration are qualities that help young people become strong leaders.
